Dr Claudia DeGiovanni currently offers private clinics at the Nuffield Hospital in Brighton for all dermatology conditions.  Claudia is an experienced Skin Surgeon and Consultant Dermatologist in Brighton.  Mole checks, management of simple sun damage and simple surgical procedures such as skin tag removal and shave excisions of moles can sometimes be done on the  day. Larger surgical procedures such as cyst excision, mole removal and surgical management of  skin cancer will usually need to be booked in but she delivers a much shorter wait than would be experienced on the NHS. She also treats a wide range of skin conditions including rashes such as acne, psoriasis, eczema and autoimmmune skin condions such as bullous pemphigoid and lupus.

Claudia has been a Consultant in Dermatology since 2008 and is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. She trained locally and has a commitment to improving healthcare for the local population. She is registered with all major insurance providers. Her postgraduate dermatology education has included courses in the UK and abroad. She is an experienced dermatological surgeon and regularly performs complex procedures.  She understands that any surgical procedure, however small, may cause a degree of anxiety and she will put you at ease and ensure that the process goes as smoothly as possible.

She is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group and the British Society for Dermatological Surgery. Claudia is a member of the British Medical Association, is regulated by the General Medical Council and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.

Claudia’s clinic at the Nuffield Hospital in Woodingdean, Brighton is on a Wednesdays and some Fridays. Procedures are performed on Wednesday mornings. The Hospital is within easy reach of Brighton city centre via public transport.  There is ample free parking at the hospital site. The Hospital itself is a professional and private venue overlooking the beautiful South Downs towards the sea. It is a warm and welcoming environment.

Currently Claudia isn’t offering Botox injections or hyaluronic acid fillers for facial rejuvenation. Please note that that hyaluronic filler injections are safer when performed under ultrasound guidance. Minimising risk is something that Claudia cares deeply about and for this reason she has decided to stop offering this service for the time-being.
